Tyrannosaurus was a two-legged carnivore with a massive skull balanced by a long, heavy tail. Most estimates suggest T-Rex was about 40 feet long and weighed around 15 tons. This images shows T-Rex hunting Struthiomimus, an ostrich-like dinosaur. The relative abundance of fossil remains suggests that struthiomimus was herbivorous. Both dinosaurs lived in the late Cretaceous Period, about 65 to 70 million years ago.
